Crisp, clean finish of anise and honey. A beautifully simple gin that will go well in cocktails or in sipping. A scenic gem off the tip of Wisconsin’s Door County peninsula, Washington Island is 30 square miles, home to a year-round population of 660, and steeped in the farming traditions of its 19th century Icelandic and Scandinavian settlers. Explorers and ship captains navigated between peninsula and island, from Green Bay to the open waters of the Great Lakes, through a treacherous passage named the “Death’s Door” by Native Americans. The changing currents and spirited waters of this legendary trade route inspired Death’s Door Spirits’ products and approach.
